Commercial Dumpster Rental across Spartanburg County and the Upstate

Commercial customers have a different problem from homeowners: they do not need one container, they need the right container at the right time, every time, without chasing it. Property managers and HOAs keeping apartment complexes and shared spaces clean, retailers renovating or clearing inventory, restaurants upgrading a kitchen, offices clearing a floor, real estate and foreclosure cleanouts — the work is routine for us and the scheduling is the service.

We run daily, weekly and ongoing service, with swaps and recurring weekly or monthly pickups for repeat clients. The container sizes are the same as everyone else gets, 10 to 40 yards — a 15 for a retail or office cleanout, a 20 for a restaurant remodel, a 30 for construction debris or bulky commercial waste, and a 40 for large demolition or warehouse cleanouts. The talk is about volume per week and site access, not one job.

At a glance

What you get with commercial dumpster rental

  • Swap-outs and scheduled pickups for ongoing projects
  • Daily, weekly and ongoing commercial rental plans
  • Delivery to your lot, loading area or job site
  • 10 to 40 yard containers for commercial volume
  • The same flat-rate pricing — delivery, pickup and disposal included, with invoices and volume pricing for repeat clients
  • Local dispatch that answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Retail refits, office cleanouts and property turnovers

A retailer clearing a store, an office floor cleared out, a property manager with tenant move-outs, apartment turnovers and foreclosure cleanups — these jobs make bulky, light debris in volume, and the 30 and 40 yard containers exist for exactly that. Restaurant kitchen upgrades are the one that runs heavy, because of the tile. Metal, concrete, cardboard and clean wood are separated and recycled whenever possible.

Who may haul for a business is set by the county and town by town. Spartanburg County Code Sec. 66-3 requires every private collector collecting or transporting refuse in the county to hold a county collector's license and to take what it collects to the county landfill. The City of Spartanburg requires a business license from anyone doing business or performing a job inside city limits (City Code Sec. 10-1). Lyman requires a town business license to provide waste service to commercial locations (Sec. 16-20), Greer, Landrum and Pacolet require general business licenses, and Duncan's Council approves applications to serve commercial customers (Sec. 42-21(b)(4)). We are licensed in the places that require it. We found no exclusive roll-off franchise in any of our towns.

Placement on commercial property

On a private lot, in a loading area or on a job site, we found no City of Spartanburg or Spartanburg County rule requiring a permit for a roll-off. A container in the street is a different question: a City street, sidewalk, alley or parking space needs the City's Temporary Street Closure/Encroachment application — a minimum $75 fee, a $1 million liability certificate and a $10,000 bond naming the City, a hold harmless agreement and a traffic control plan approved by the Traffic Services Manager — and the City will not process it before a business license is in place. On a state road, the City also wants a copy of the SCDOT permit. We build that into the delivery plan.

Commercial dumpster rental — the local specifics

A few local rules shape commercial work. The City of Spartanburg tells businesses to purchase or rent containers from standard suppliers (City Code Sec. 28-40(7)). Inman lets businesses have refuse removed by a private contractor and requires apartment complexes and mobile home parks of four or more units to use a commercial dumpster service of their choice (Sec. 22-20). Greer puts it on industrial and commercial owners to provide containers for private collection (Sec. 74-30). Duncan is the one to plan around: its code lists commercial solid waste among the categories the town collects (Sec. 42-54) and has Council approve applications to serve commercial customers, so we check before booking ongoing commercial service there. Greer also straddles the county line — its Greenville County side falls under Greenville County's rules, which send commercial haulers using a Greenville County facility to the Twin Chimneys Landfill, while Spartanburg County takes waste from another county only by special permit (County Code Sec. 66-34(b)). We state what each town's code says on its page, are licensed in the places that require it, and tell you where your job stands before the truck leaves the yard.

Answers

Commercial Dumpster Rental — your questions answered

Can you deliver outside business hours?

We take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we work to your site's access window, including after-hours pickups so a business can stay open. Weekend and early-morning drops can be arranged when a truck is free.

Do you offer ongoing service plans?

Yes, for repeat commercial clients — daily, weekly or ongoing, with scheduled swaps we keep, volume pricing and invoicing.

Can you handle multiple sites?

Yes. Multiple containers at once and staggered deliveries and pickups across job sites are routine for property managers and contractors.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — licensed in the places that require it, including Spartanburg County's collector's license and a City of Spartanburg business license for work inside city limits, and our drivers are experienced and insured. Ask when you book if your property manager or general contractor needs paperwork.

Do you serve every town on your list for commercial work?

Yes, but the rules differ. Spartanburg County licenses private collectors, the City and several towns require a business license, and Duncan's Council approves commercial service — we are licensed in the places that require it. Greer's Greenville County side has its own disposal rules. Each town page says what that town's code says, and we tell you straight on the phone.

We run roll-off containers out of the Asheville Highway yard to every town below. Spartanburg and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the county are more often next-day. The county licenses private haulers, several towns require a business license, and some keep containers out of the street — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
