Fifteen towns and one yard on Asheville Highway. Here is every place we cover, grouped by area, each with its own page on access, housing and what the town's own code says — including the county's hauler license and the towns that keep containers out of the street.

We run roll-off containers out of 9091 Asheville Hwy, just outside Spartanburg city limits, to every town below. Distance is the first thing that changes. Spartanburg itself, plus Boiling Springs and Inman about 4 to 5 road miles from the yard and Wellford about 8, are the quickest runs, and Lyman, Roebuck and Duncan are 12 to 13 miles out — often same-day when you call before noon. Cowpens, Moore, Reidville, Landrum, Chesnee and Pacolet are 15 to 18 miles out, and Greer and Woodruff about 20 to 23 — more often next day.
The second thing that changes is the law. The City of Spartanburg needs its Temporary Street Closure/Encroachment permit for a container in a City street, sidewalk, alley or parking space — a minimum $75 fee, a $1 million liability certificate, a $10,000 bond and an approved traffic control plan. Greer's code bans obstructions on its streets and keeps a temporary dumpster out of the front setback without an active building permit, Pacolet keeps bulk containers off its streets unless the Town designates a spot, and on state roads S.C. Code Sec. 57-7-210 makes an obstruction unlawful. Spartanburg County requires a collector's license from every private hauler in the county, and the City, Lyman, Greer, Landrum and Pacolet require business licenses — we are licensed in the places that require it. Each town page quotes the section and gives the department to call. We would rather say it here than find out on delivery day.
The service area
The run splits naturally: Spartanburg and the towns closest to the yard, and the towns further out toward the edges of the county and Greer on the county line.
Spartanburg itself and the closest communities to the yard on Asheville Highway — Boiling Springs, Inman and Wellford, roughly 4 to 8 road miles out (approx.). Same-day or next-day in Spartanburg, and often the same day nearby.
Lyman, Duncan, Reidville and Greer, west and southwest of the yard — roughly 12 to 20 road miles (approx.), with Greer straddling the Greenville County line. Often the same day; call early for Greer.
Landrum, Chesnee, Cowpens and Pacolet across the north and east of the county, and Roebuck, Moore and Woodruff to the south — roughly 12 to 23 road miles from the yard (approx.). Same-day or next-day, often the same day; call early for the longer runs.

Spartanburg, Boiling Springs, Inman and Wellford are the most likely when you call before noon, then Lyman, Roebuck and Duncan, 12 to 13 road miles out, depending on where the trucks are. Greer and Woodruff, 20 to 23 miles out, are usually next day.
Yes, call — the unincorporated parts of Spartanburg County and the communities between our towns are often inside our run. They just do not have their own pages yet. In unincorporated Spartanburg County we found no county permit for a container on a county road, and many roads are state roads, so keep it on the property.
Because Spartanburg County requires every private collector hauling refuse in the county to hold a county collector's license and use the county landfill, the City of Spartanburg requires a business license for work inside city limits, Lyman requires one to serve commercial locations, and Duncan's Council approves commercial service. We state what each code says, are licensed in the places that require it, and tell you where your job stands when you call.
The flat rate depends partly on the delivery location, so the edges of the area can cost a little more — we say so up front.
Greer straddles the line with Greenville County, and we deliver there; its Greenville County side falls under Greenville County's disposal rules. Further out than that, call and we will tell you honestly.
