Nature of our service

Hub & Haul Dumpsters provides temporary roll-off dumpster rentals for residential, commercial and construction use in Spartanburg, South Carolina and the surrounding Spartanburg County communities: delivery, placement, pickup and disposal of approved non-hazardous waste. Depending on the project, the schedule and the location, we may provide the rental directly or connect you with an independent local dumpster rental provider ("Service Provider"). We do not operate disposal facilities. Each Service Provider operates independently and is responsible for its own pricing, services and performance. All rentals are subject to availability and to local, county and state rules, including Spartanburg County and South Carolina waste management requirements.

Acceptance of terms

By using the website, requesting a quote or renting a dumpster, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to post harmful, illegal or misleading content, try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or interfere with the site's security or functionality.

No guarantee of service

We work to provide reliable, professional dumpster rental, but we do not guarantee the availability, pricing or timing of any service in every location. Same-day delivery depends on availability. Work performed by a Service Provider is between you and that provider, and we are not responsible for scheduling, delivery, damages or disputes that arise from services handled by a Service Provider.

Information collection and sharing

When you book, you agree to give accurate and complete information, including the delivery address, placement instructions and payment details. We use it to fulfill your request and share it only with the people who need it to do that, such as a Service Provider or a payment processor. The Privacy Policy explains more.

Payments and pricing

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and include delivery, pickup and disposal within the stated weight limit and the standard rental period. Additional charges may apply for excess weight, extended rental time or prohibited materials, as quoted. Full payment or a deposit may be required before delivery. We accept major credit cards, electronic payments and business checks; late payments or declined transactions may delay service or cancel the order. You may cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled delivery for a full refund; same-day cancellations or missed deliveries may carry a service fee, and approved refunds are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. Where a Service Provider fulfills the rental, payment and billing may be handled directly between you and that provider.

Use of the container

The standard rental period is up to 7 days unless otherwise specified; extensions are available on request and may carry daily or weekly fees, and you are responsible for scheduling pickup before the rental period ends to avoid additional charges. Load the container no higher than its top edge — an overfilled container cannot be safely transported — spread the load evenly, keep the path to it clear, and do not move it once placed. Do not place hazardous waste, paint, oil, chemicals, asbestos, electronics, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, propane tanks, fuel containers or pressurized cylinders, tires, appliances or medical waste in the container. South Carolina law keeps used lead-acid batteries (S.C. Code Sec. 44-96-180), used oil and unprocessed oil filters (Sec. 44-96-160), whole tires (Sec. 44-96-170) and covered computers, monitors, printers and televisions (Sec. 48-60-90) out of landfills, white goods out of municipal solid waste landfills (Sec. 44-96-200), and yard trash out of loads bound for them (Sec. 44-96-190). Improper use may result in additional disposal fees or legal penalties.

Permits and placement

Placement on private property such as a driveway usually needs no permit. A dumpster may not be placed on public property without the required permits — in the City of Spartanburg, the City's Temporary Street Closure/Encroachment permit, and on a state road, SCDOT's encroachment permit — and getting them is the customer's responsibility. We can offer general guidance on the local requirements when you book. HOA covenants on containers are also the customer's to check. We place containers with reasonable care, but the customer accepts responsibility for surface damage to driveways, lawns, sidewalks or curbs unless protective boards were requested before delivery.

Service provider responsibility

When a Service Provider is involved, it operates as an independent contractor and is responsible for obtaining proper licenses, insurance and permits; complying with local, state and federal laws; the safe and lawful disposal of waste; and preventing damage during delivery or pickup. Hub & Haul Dumpsters does not supervise, manage or control Service Providers and is not liable for their conduct or performance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hub & Haul Dumpsters is not liable for damages, injuries or losses resulting from improper loading or use of a dumpster; failure to follow local regulations or permit requirements; weather events, natural disasters or other unforeseen delays; customer negligence during the rental period; or services provided by third parties; nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific rental service involved. Customers are encouraged to review their own insurance coverage before renting equipment.

No warranties

We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy of information on this website or the fitness of any service for a particular purpose. The website and its content are provided "as is". All content on hubhauldumpsters.com, including text, graphics, images and logos, belongs to Hub & Haul Dumpsters and may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our written consent.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hub & Haul Dumpsters, its owners, employees and affiliates from any claims, losses or expenses — including legal fees — arising from your use of the site or our services, your relationship or transactions with Service Providers, a violation of the law, or a violation of these terms.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute is resolved in the courts located in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. We may update these terms at any time; the updated version is posted here with its date, and continued use of the website or our services means you accept the changes.
