Supporting local cleanups

From Spartanburg and Boiling Springs to Duncan, Inman, Greer and the towns across the Upstate, we look for ways to help the people and groups that keep our towns going. When a neighborhood association, a school, a church, a sports club or a volunteer crew runs a cleanup day, a park or roadside cleanup or a community build, the hard part is always the pile at the end. A roll-off dumpster is often exactly what they need, and for qualifying community and nonprofit projects we offer discounted or donated containers.

One honest tip: some of the work is already covered. Inside the City of Spartanburg, furniture and appliances set out beside the cart and routine yard clippings are collected, and Spartanburg County's recycling centers take household garbage and recycling from county residents. Check those first. If your project is bigger than that, call us.

Working with local groups

Schools, churches, youth sports, nonprofits, HOAs and neighborhood associations — if your group is planning a project or an event and needs a container, call (864) 310-7644 or email info@hubhauldumpsters.com and tell us what you are doing. We help with debris for events, renovations, fundraisers and community improvement work, and when severe weather hits the Upstate, we help families and neighborhoods clear debris quickly and affordably.

Our team lives and works in the Spartanburg area. A local company should mean local jobs.

Responsible disposal

Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We sort and route materials to the proper facilities — concrete and asphalt, wood and scrap metal, cardboard and clean yard debris recycled whenever possible, and everything else to the county's Wellford Landfill. South Carolina keeps lead-acid batteries, used oil, whole tires, TVs and computers out of landfills, so they stay out of the box — and household chemicals from Spartanburg County homes go to the county's spring household hazardous waste collection, not the container.
