Hub & Haul Dumpsters runs out of a yard at 9091 Asheville Hwy, just outside Spartanburg city limits. The idea is simple: make dumpster rental here simple, fast and honest, with clear communication, flat-rate pricing and a local team instead of a call center. So we keep it plain. One number that covers the job. A delivery window we hit. A local person on the phone.
Spartanburg is a city of very different jobs — 38,732 people at the 2020 Census and an estimated 39,978 in 2025, in a county that has grown to an estimated 380,000 — with Converse, Wofford and USC Upstate in town and I-26 and I-85 crossing the county. Homeowners in Converse Heights, Hillcrest and Boiling Springs call about cleanouts, remodels and storm-damaged roofs; property managers turn over units; contractors build downtown and out along the interstates. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that the City does not pick up contractor construction debris, tires or electronic waste, that a container in a City street needs the City's Temporary Street Closure/Encroachment permit, and that South Carolina will not let lead-acid batteries, used oil, whole tires, TVs or computers into a landfill.
Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (864) 310-7644 and describe it in a sentence.

How it works
Most bookings take a few minutes.
One short conversation. We ask your location, what you are clearing, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No long forms, no guesswork.
You get one number covering delivery, the standard rental of up to 7 days, pickup, disposal and a stated weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site exactly where you asked, with boards under it if you want them. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability.
Keep it level with the top edge and keep the banned items out — tires, car batteries, used oil and filters, liquid paint, chemicals, propane tanks, TVs and computers, and appliances such as fridges, washers and water heaters. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call or text and we are on it.
The load goes to Spartanburg County's Wellford Landfill — the county's own landfill, where county code sends licensed haulers — with metal, concrete, cardboard and clean green waste recycled whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
On the job
We walk you through placement before the truck backs in, and check in again at pickup.

Local knowledge
There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives the truck fits down, which addresses are inside Spartanburg city limits and which are county, that a container in a City street needs the City's application — a minimum $75 fee, a $1 million liability certificate, a $10,000 bond and an approved traffic control plan — and that Greer's development code has its own rules for a temporary dumpster in the front yard.
Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, housing and what that town's own code says about containers in the street and who may haul.

Why us
The phone rings on Asheville Highway. Whoever picks up knows the difference between a tight driveway near downtown and a country lot out past Chesnee, and how far it is to Woodruff.
Delivery, the rental, pickup, disposal and a stated weight allowance in a single number. No hidden pickup, fuel or delivery fees. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.
Call before noon and most Spartanburg, Boiling Springs, Inman and Wellford orders have a good chance of going out the same day, depending on availability. Greer and Woodruff, 20 to 23 miles out, are more often next day — said honestly, in advance.
Boards under the dumpster when you ask, and the driver tells you before delivery if a tight drive, low power lines or soft ground needs a different approach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard loaded level is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.
Storms drop limbs, fences and shingles across whole neighborhoods. We queue honestly after a storm and tell you where you are in the line.

Ask when you book if your property manager, general contractor or HOA needs paperwork.
The yard is at 9091 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg 29316. The number on this page reaches it, not an answering service in another state.
Fifteen towns and communities, from Landrum and Chesnee in the north to Woodruff in the south and Greer on the county line. We tell you honestly which runs are same-day and which are next-day before you book.
South Carolina keeps lead-acid batteries, used oil, whole tires, TVs and computers out of its landfills, white goods out of household-trash landfills and yard trash out of household-trash loads. We keep those out of the box, recycle what the facilities take, and say so.

We run roll-off containers out of the Asheville Highway yard to every town below. Spartanburg and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the county are more often next-day. The county licenses private haulers, several towns require a business license, and some keep containers out of the street — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
Answers
Typical rentals run $295 to $695, with no hidden pickup, fuel or delivery fees. The price depends on the size, the type of debris, the delivery location and any permit, and how long you keep it. You get one flat rate on the phone that includes delivery, pickup, the standard rental of up to 7 days and the included weight — 2 to 3 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Going over the weight costs extra, and extra days are a low daily rate. Call (864) 310-7644 for a firm number for your address.
Often the same day or next day, depending on availability — call before noon for the best chance of same-day. Towns 20 to 23 road miles out, like Greer and Woodruff, are more often next day. We tell you which when you call.
We found no City of Spartanburg or Spartanburg County rule requiring a permit for a roll-off on your own driveway or private property. A City street, sidewalk, alley or parking space is different: you need the City's Temporary Street Closure/Encroachment application — a minimum $75 fee, a $1 million liability certificate and a $10,000 bond naming the City, a hold harmless agreement and a traffic control plan approved by the Traffic Services Manager. Anything left in the street at night needs a light at each end and one every 25 feet (City Code Sec. 30-158(b)). On a state road, S.C. Code Sec. 57-7-210 makes an obstruction unlawful and the City wants a copy of the SCDOT permit. Check your HOA too. We flag it when you book.
South Carolina keeps lead-acid batteries (S.C. Code Sec. 44-96-180), used oil and unprocessed oil filters (Sec. 44-96-160), whole tires (Sec. 44-96-170) and home computers, monitors, printers and TVs (Sec. 48-60-90) out of its landfills, and white goods — fridges, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, A/C units — out of household-trash landfills (Sec. 44-96-200). We also keep out liquid paint, solvents and chemicals, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste and asbestos. Spartanburg County holds a household hazardous waste collection every spring, and its recycling centers take batteries and used oil from county residents.
A loaded roll-off is heavy. Ask for boards under the dumpster and the driver puts them down. Tell us before delivery if a surface worries you — fresh concrete, pavers, a cracked slab, grass or soft ground.
Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. A bathroom or a garage is a 10, a kitchen, flooring or a deck a 15, a whole-home cleanout or roof a 20, a full-house renovation or new build a 30, construction and demolition a 40, and broken-up concrete or dirt a 10 loaded level. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.
Yes — fourteen more towns and communities across Spartanburg County, from Landrum and Chesnee to Woodruff and Moore, plus Greer on the county line. Spartanburg County licenses private collectors and several towns require a business license (we are licensed in the places that require it), and some towns keep containers out of the street; each town page quotes what that town's code says, and we tell you straight on the phone.
Early. Same-day depends on availability, and the days right after a big storm are the busiest. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it — and if the box has to go in a City street, the permit has to be in hand first.
